Since May 2016, The A’DAM Lookout is the new iconic viewing point in Amsterdam and famous from the moment its doors were opened. It symbolizes the main attraction in Amsterdam, just like the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the London Eye in London. The new lookout tower offers a spectacular 360º view of Amsterdam that spans the historic city centre, the port area and the polders to the north.
For the daredevils among us, the Lookout also offers Europe’s highest swing on the roof of the A’DAM Lookout. Held securely in a safety harness, you swing over the edge of the tower at a thrilling height of almost 100 metres above the ground. Guests can find the Lookout on the top floor of the iconic A’DAM Tower on the banks of the IJ, next to the Eye Film Institute and directly opposite Central Station.
While visiting the A’DAM Lookout, you will receive a free digital picture of you visiting the A’DAM Lookout The tall tower, formerly known as ‘The Shell tower’, offers in addition to fantastic views, also indoor interactive state-of-the-art Amsterdam exhibition and you can enjoy coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or cocktails in Madam, a panoramic bar restaurant and club, or the revolving Moon restaurant.
