The Royal Concert Hall is one of the world’s most renowned concert halls. It is known for its excellent acoustics and world-class programs. The Royal Concertgebouw, built in 1888, is located in the cultural heart of Amsterdam; the Museumplein. The concert hall has been the center of classical music in the Netherlands for more than a century. Inside are three beautiful rooms: the large auditorium for orchestral performances, the small hall for quartets and chamber music and the more intimate choir for recitals. By welcoming around 800,000 visitors annually, the Royal Concert Hall has the world’s second highest visitor record!

With more than seven hundred scheduled concerts a year, ranging from classical to jazz and pop, The Royal Concert Hall offers a wide selection of concerts on which the best musicians, orchestras and conductors perform.

Enjoy a concert by the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra or the Dutch Chamber Orchestra in the Great Hall of the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. There are several dates available for an evening concert at 20:15. Drinks (coffee, tea, soft drinks, wine or beer) are included for the concert and during the break.
