Restaurant Blauw aan de Wal is located in the middle of the Red Light District of Amsterdam, surrounded by a rich history and in between red lights. A little alley leads to the atmospherical courtyard with an old warehouse.
With modest passion, owner and chef Daan Olthuis and his team cook a diverse menu with inspiring seasonal products. With a lot of attention, the extensive wine list is adapted to the dishes. The dishes are inspired by seasonal products that appeal to your imagination and taste. Among the favorites are the so-called ‘Scottish razors’, flat oysters from Zeeland, Vialone nano risotto, Ibérico pig, buffalo ricotta and Valrona chocolat. On request, vegetarian dishes are prepared by the kitchen team, with the same amount of love and attention.
